Ok I remember TWW comercial. Zelda was in a cloake in realistic atmosphere sayin talking about links role and above all else her goal was to save her. After playing beating TWW I was condused, besides the clips from the ga,e what this comercial had to do with TWW. Then after seeing Zelda IN THE SAME EXACT SETTING. I wonder if it was somewat of a clue to the next game or what. This was the American version of the comercial.
Sorry made this thread after reading new thread rules. Anyway if you never have seen the omercial I beleive you can download it on ZU or if you can't search for zelda comercials. I also thought what she said reflected off of MM a little.

ummm... I am sure the girl in the cloake was Links Sister?
Correct me if I am wrong.
- May 30th 2005
Yes it seemed that way, but someone said it was Zelda...whatever, but It does look EXACTLY like TP.
- May 30th 2005
I just found the comercial on my computer, It says Link traveled to seas and great challenges etc... to fufill his destiny...
To save his sister... But yes you are right... It is the same cloake... Douht it means anything tho

Well if the next comercial has somthing out of place like that then I will be very suspicious

Actually, that was Aryll, but I would probably have thought it was Zelda myself if I played any Zelda games before it came out.
Anyway, it could have been a coincidence. Or maybe they looked back on the Zelda media they sent out and got ideas from there. We might never know.

Ok....why the hell would they allude to the next Zelda game in an....AMERICAN COMMERCIAL?!? Theres no point. First of all they would do it Japan instead of America because most americans would have no idea what the hell was even happening in the commercial. All they would have to see is the 'kiddie graphics' and they lost the interest.

i beleive the person in the cloack form the comercial was zelda, that is an interesting theroy

But Link didn't set out to save Zelda, he set out to save his sister... while he was doing that he got himself caught up with Zelda and Ganon etc.

true, but wasn't the commercial suposed to be a silent hint?
- May 30th 2005
um... no? it isn't aryll  aryll is like 7 years old, and the girl in the trailer is like 14/15. besides, the girl is talking about link fullfilling his destiney, wich is to save zelda.. It always was and will be his destiney to save her. aryll was just the start of his journey.. And in the final fight against ganondorf, before the actual fight starts and zelda is passed out, she wears somekind of cloak too.. so it has to be zelda.
the trailer does show a resemblance with the twilight realm... zelda (if i'm correct) is wearing a cloak.. the place where she's at is very dark and almost colourless..
- May 30th 2005
Yeah, I always thought it was Zelda as well. The play on words like "destiny" etc was just a subtle hint to that Zelda was in the game, if you ask me, because above all, Link's destiny is to save her (or arguably her AND Hyrule).
Plus, take a look at the dialogue the cloaked girl had:
Quote
"In the land of Hyrule
Display More
there echoes a legend:
A legend held dearly by the royal family,
that tells of a boy who became a man.
He embarked on a great journey
through the deepest, darkest corners of thee earth
battling the forces of evil
testing the limits of his will
all to fulfill his destiny
which is, above all else
to save
me."I doubt Aryll knew too much about a legend held dearly by the Royal Family.

I also noticed that similarity when I saw the new trailer. I really liked the atmosphere of that TWW commercial, so I'm thrilled that TP is going in that direction a bit.
I don't think that commercial was a clue though. It's probably just coincidence how much they are alike.- May 30th 2005
Perhaps that was their original intention - to create TP - but created WW instead.
- May 30th 2005
I hated that commercial....it had barely anything to do with WW.
It does look something more suited for TP, thats for sure!- May 30th 2005

lol you can tell by looking at the girls mouth?
but you and Lars have a point.... and I guess Nintendo was sorta working on TP while they were making tWW...
- Jun 1st 2005
They say they are working on another Zelda now...mabey (if the comercial was no coinicidence) there will be some sort of clue to the next Zelda. (I highly doubt it) I mean if there is something way out of place like TWW comercial....
- Jun 3rd 2005
They could probably re-issue that same TWW commercial for Twilight Princess with a few minor edits and none would be the wiser...

Shut up now. I am an American and did not care about the graphics. I saw the name Zelda, thought that it would be great, and was the third person to reserve it at a local game store.

hello, remember something called spaceworld 2000 which show cased a relistic lokking zelda game but that was to be put on hold for a few years.Spaceworld 2001 showed ww link. :devious: :devious:
That was a Tech Demo, Nintendo never actually planned to make it, it was a mere demo to show the Gamecube's power. It wasn't put on hold, just was never going to be made, TP actually looks very very different from that Tech demo too.
That Advert came up straight away when viewing the trailer, I would think at least 10% of that's scenes influence would've come from the Wind Waker's Advert.
