Thrill Digger is a game in Eldin Volcano run by Tubert. It is located in the northwestern portion of the main Volcano area in a small Bokoblin town. You must bomb a wall behind a hut to reach it. Biggoron's Sword is the most powerful weapon in the game. It is twice as strong as the Master Sword! However, it is so huge, that you cannot use the sword and the shield at the same time. You can enter this cave to reach a digging mini-game run by Mr. Tubert that is completely optional. Thrill Digger works much like the game Minesweeper. Regardless of the level you are playing on, you can use your digging mitts to dig up soft soil spots. The more expensive rupees are usually surrounded by a bomb or multiple bombs.

Skydiving Roulette

Location: Fun Fun Island
Available: After repairing Scrapper and bringing the lost roulette back
Price: 20 rupees
Goal: To land on a coloured square (ideally the multicoloured square) by going through the 5 circles and avoiding the unlucky balloons during your skydive
Prizes: Piece of Heart and 500 rupees. You must go through all of the circles, avoid the unlucky balloons and land on the multicoloured square
Consolation prizes: They depend on your multiplier (circles gone through) and the square you land on. Pink and blue squares: 50 rupees - Red: 20 rupees - Blue: 10 rupees - Green: 1 rupee (Brown: 0 - Black: -10 rupees)
Remark: Try to visualize and anticipate your path.
Tips: To always fall (almost always) on the bonus square, watch attentively the square location when you go through the last circle and move two squares in counterclockwise (it's an example) while keeping your speed (don't dive, just fall). You have more than 80% chance of landing on the bonus square.

Bug Paradise

Location: Bug Rock inside the ThunderHead
Available: After talking to Levias
Price: Beginner: 20 rupees - Expert: 50 rupees
Goal: To catch 5 or 10 insects (depending on your level) in less than 2 minutes

  • Beginner: You must catch 1 Sky Stag Beetle, 1 Lanayru Ant, 1 Skyloft Mantis, 1 Starry Firefly and 1 Volcanic Ladybug
  • Expert: You must catch 2 Eldin Roller, 2 Faron Grasshopper, 1 Sand Cicada, 1 Lanayru Ant, 1 Gerudo Dragonfly, 1 Woodland Rhino Beetle, 1 Blessed Butterfly and 1 Skyloft Mantis

Prizes: Beginner: 5 insects of the same species
Expert: 5 rare insects
Consolation prizes: Beginner: 50 rupees between 2 and 3 minutes
Expert: 5 insects of the same species between 2 and 3 minutes
Remark:

  • The upgraded Bug Net is strongly recommended. The insects you grab during the game are released at the end.
  • Careful! The game may be stopped if you lose too many hearts (because of the hornets for instance). If you have one heart left (2 in hero mode) you will lose the game without getting your money back.

Tips: Take some time to learn the route. Start by going to the top of the island and jump inside the building. Go upstairs and continue the path by repeating.

Beginner route: Start by rolling into the wall ahead and grab the Sky Stag Beetle. Go left, jump down and grab the Volcanic Ladybug. Go back up to the other side and go to the end of the path (by taking a bridge). Enter the central room and catch the Starry Firefly. Exit through the narrow path hidden by pots and you arrive on a wooden surface where a Lanayru Ant is hiding. Use the Z button to find it easily. Finally break the pots to your left and grab the Skyloft Mantis.

Expert route: Head right, catch the rope and pick up the Gerudo Dragonfly at the bottom of the slope. Then climb the slope and grab the Eldin Roller (if it's going down, leave it). Go left to avoid the hornets and grab the Lanayru Ant along the way. Throw the last pot before the hornet tree to find the Skyloft Mantis (you might kill the insect if you use your sword). Jump down towards the outer edge and catch the Sand Cicada on the corner of the fence, then jump down just a bit to find a Woodland Rhino Beetle on a wall. Jump down again to catch the Blessed Butterfly and move forward to find the first Faron Grasshopper (you can also catch a Blessed Butterfly at the same spot). Jump on the small plank and further, then once at the end of this 'corridor' grab another Eldin Roller. Get in the round room to the right, go straight on, roll to go through the cobweb and throw the small pot on your right to find a second Faron Grasshopper. You did it!

If you missed an insect in the above procedure: there is a third roller just on your left. There is also a rhino beetle on the pillar close to the cobweb (but don't make it fall or it would drown). For other insects follow the narrow path hidden by pots: there is a mantis inside a pot to the left, as well as an ant nearby. A bit further are dragonflies, then by using the Clawshots on the ivy (aiming rather left) you will find a cicada. Finally after getting back up the 'corridor' you should find a butterfly, a grasshopper and a roller.

Rickety Coaster

Location: Shipyard
Available: After completing the Sandship
Price: 20 rupees
Goal: To reach the arrival as fast as you can
Prizes:

  • Beginner: 100 rupees (or rarely a rare treasure) if you make it in less than 30 seconds
  • Expert: Piece of Heart in less than 65 seconds

Consolation prizes:

  • Beginner: 50 rupees between 30 and 35 seconds, 20 rupees between 36 and 40 seconds
  • Expert: Rare treasure between 65 and 70 seconds, 20 rupees above 70 seconds

Tips: Anticipate the bends and learn the route. Only accelerate in the bends. Expert level: jump only over the first hole and take the right path near the end.

Pumpkin Pull

Location: Skyloft, in front of the Sword Training Building
Available: After completing the Sandship and making Fledge stronger
Price: 20 rupees
Goal: To shoot as many pumpkins as you can in 90 seconds
Prizes: A Piece of Heart for reaching 600 points, then a rare treasure after getting it
Consolation prizes: An ordinary treasure above 400 points; 50 rupees between 150 and 399 points
Remark: Shiny pumpkins give double points.
Tips:

  • It seems to be easier if you shoot at the pumpkins when they're falling. Try to hit them the highest you can and anticipate their trajectory.
  • Look where Fledge is throwing the pumpkin, aim at this spot and shoot as soon as he's about to throw the pumpkin. Once you got the hang of it, the points will add up easy. Or in the same idea: Aim at the top left corner of the wall under the roof and shoot when he's moving to throw the pumpkin.
  • The consecutive points won per pumpkin will fall back to 10 points not if you don't shoot, but when you shoot and you miss a pumpkin. Thus if you feel you're going to miss a pumpkin, let it fall to the ground and get prepared for the next one.

Playing in the Lumpy Pumpkin

Location: Pumpkin Landing, at night
Available: After completing the three missions of the owner
Price: -
Goal: To play the Harp while Kina is singing
Prizes: 50 rupees if your performance was exceptional
Consolation prizes: 20 rupees for a good performance (nothing under)
Remark: The arm movements of the customers are always the same. Thus if you learn them by heart, you'll be able to easily be in sync with them.

A Pumpkin Shelter

Location: Pumpkin Landing, in the pumpkin field
Available: After helping Kina to put the pumpkins in the shelter
Price: -
Goal: Bring 5 pumpkins in the shelter
Prizes: 50 rupees
Consolation prizes: -
Remark: When finishing the mini game once, Kina won't let you play again. In order to play again, you must go back to Skyloft or land under the clouds.
Tips: Move slightly the stick to the left and walk a bit: you'll see the pumpkins tilting faster when you walk. Thus, move slightly the stick to the right and walk a bit, and repeat this to reach the shelter without having the pumpkins tilt too much. If you bump into a wall, do the same but instead of going forward, move backward and face the shelter.

Thunder Dragon challenge: Silent Realms

Location: Lanayru Gorge
Available: After healing the Thunder Dragon
Price: ---
Goal: Complete the Silent Realm again
Prizes: A rare treasure if completed in a set time
Consolation prizes: 20 rupees and all the treasures you found during the challenge (ideal for the Evil Crystals)

Thunder Dragon challenge: Boss Rush

Location: Lanayru Gorge
Available: After healing the Thunder Dragon
Price: ---
Goal: Defeat the bosses in a row. You can choose the first boss but the next ones will be random.
Prizes: Hylian Shield for 8 bosses defeated, 1000 rupees after getting it - 2000 rupees for 9 bosses - 3 rare treasures for 10 bosses - 3000 rupees for 11 bosses - 9900 rupees for 12 bosses (only in hero mode)
Consolation prizes: 20 rupees for 1 boss - an ordinary treasure for 2 bosses - 100 rupees for 3 bosses - a Heart Container for 4 bosses, 200 rupees after getting it - 300 rupees for 5 bosses - a rare treasure for 6 bosses - 500 rupees for 7 bosses
Remarks:

  • You can't open your inventory during the fights which means no potions! Fortunately you can use your shield.
  • BE CAREFUL! After winning a battle, if you decide to continue the boss rush and you lose the next battle, you'll lose everything!

Tips: Drink a Guardian Potion + just before starting the challenge to be invincible for 3 minutes and choose to fight the toughest boss according to you. There's even better: Have the Potion Medal with you to get 9 minutes of invicibility, allowing you to defeat 3 to 5 bosses without getting hurt. And think of retrieving as many hearts as you can in the rooms where there are some.

Secret - Distract final boss
Just like Ganondorf in Twilight Princess, you can distract the final boss by taking out either your bug net or larger bug net (if you have it) and wave it around. He will follow the net.

Demise's link to Gannondorf
If you know your Zelda, you know that Demise has a mark that of which Gannon/ Gannondorf has from Twilight Princess. This allows theories to take place between the two evil kings. Demise looks greatly like a gerudo also, which means he could be one. The proof to that point: There is only one male Gerudo every hundred years, and after Demise died, Gannondorf rose up and took his place. That could be why Gannon knows that if he happens to take, even a third of the Tri Force, he will be very powerful.

Easter Egg - The Beetle
If you have the item called 'The Beetle', then go to Skyloft, pull out your Beetle, shoot it, and crash into people. You'll see a funny look on their faces. This was not first discovered by me, but really, it's hilarious. You can even do this to Pipit who's patrolling at night.

Favore's Pearl
In the Faron Woods, there is a stone dias and a stone door that bear the emblem of Favore's Pearl from the Wind Waker.

Secret - Defeating the Final Boss.. in the easy way
You must have experienced Shield Bash and Jumping Back Flips. Because this is how I've done it to the Demise.

Phase 1 - You and the Demise are going to sword fight. So, all you need to do is slash a few times and wait for the Demise to slash at you twice. If he is, then use Shield Bash twice without resting. Once he drops his guard, slash away! Repeat this until you reach to the second phase.

Phase 2 - Now this part of the fight is very tricky. You don't want to use Shield Bash here or you will miss your chance of doing a Lightning Skyward Strike. So, you will execute the Skyward Strike by holding your Wii Remote pointing upwards. But the Demise will chase you and will strike you almost immediately. So you will want to perform a Jumping Back Flip when he is about to strike you. If you done this without being harmed, now is your chance to use the Lightning Skyward Strike at the Demise and slash away! However, even if the Demise is down, he's not weak enough. So you need to knock him down about three times and then perform a Fatal Blow.

The last boss is dumb
When you are at the last boss get out your fishing rod and wiggle it behind him and he will not try to kill you he will just stare at it dumbly.
How to get inside da temple

You should have a slingshot.. make sure you have amunition. now go up to the door and look up. There should be like a purple chandiler looking thing. shoot that w/ ur slingshot. If u still dont get it theres a stone on the rite side of the temple near a plant dude. read that.
How 2 get past the eye door

Your in da temple and you encounter a giant eye dat you cant attack or shoot it. So, get on da platform and do a spin attack(swing the remote and nunchuck sideways))) so keep doing that for like nine times and it should get dizzy. You may run out of energy but just keep going.Ok one more thing there r pics of eyes on the walls.. aim your slingshot and shoot them. they should drop rubys. hope this helps!!!

Easy Blue Birds; Easy Blue Feathers
There are some of you who have troubles with catching these blue birds in the Faron Region. Well, they can be found just about anywhere (which includes the last room of the first dungeon, but not the other dungeon in the Faron Region). First of all, you are being required the Big Bug Net. If you don't have it or the Bug Net itself, then you will never able to harvest as many Blue Feathers.
Now then, if you see a group of 3-5 birds (which these numbers do not always have the blue bird), then all you have to do is give them a distance, take your bug net out, and walk VERY slowly towards them. Make sure your net is facing where you are able to catch the birds. If you think you are close enough and ready to catch, swing the remote and you may catch at least 1 or 2 of these birds. Remember, it takes a lot of patience and a lot of steadiness.
If you did this right, then you can farm more of these Blue Feathers and you don't have to worry about looking for treasure chests for Blue Feathers. I hope this helps for those who enjoy this game.

An easier way to beat the Imprisoned
The first time you face The Imprisoned may seem frightening to you, but really, there's nothing to be afraid of. Anyways, the easier method is to go to the hole where it shoots out strong gust of wind. Once you are just about a platform higher than The Imprisoned, jump on over to his head and press the B button to safely land on its head. You will now have the advantage and vertically slash the stone on its head. You can do it about 2-3 times in the first round.

This method does work for round 2 and 3, but on the third round, you won't able to use the method I explained, so you will have to use Groose's Groosenator and launch yourself towards The Imprisoned's head.
That's all there is to it. Don't worry if The Imprisoned is about to go near the temple on round 3. You will be given some amount of time before it gets near it, so be sure to dash on over to Groose before.. you know what happens next.

Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 83(2): 340-354. Why do australians cheat at games so much.

Best Treasure Farming Spots
Amber Relic - Found almost anywhere. They are found very common in the Faron Region. You only need 20 of these for all the upgrades. (Eh.. meh. Who cares about this thing.)
