If you can’t see it, did it still happen? 🌘 Many people experienced the #eclipse today. Others may not have noticed. Those of us with visual impairments may not be able to enjoy it at all. Imagine always living in darkness, or with blurred vision or like me, with diplopoa (constant double vision). Either way, you had to have the right perspective and right lens to fully enjoy it. 🕶️Like life, natural beauty and wonder is abundant independent of your ability to visualize it. Sometimes you have to view it differently to really experience it. Other times it means relying on your other senses to compensate.Either way, even if you didn’t SEE it, you can still experience the moment. #seeingdifferently#perspective#solareclipse

North Carolina will experience a partial eclipse, and exactly how much coverage and the timing depends on where you are in the state. North Carolina will see between 75.5% and 88.5% coverage, and the eclipse will reach peak coverage between 3:07 p.m. and 3:20 p.m.The Piedmont Triad will see about 82% to 83% coverage, peaking at about 3:14 p.m. The whole experience, from the first sliver of the eclipse to the last, should stretch from about 2 p.m. to about 4:30 p.m.Wear those glasses for safety!#eclipse #eclipse2024
